The bag is made entirely from certified compostable materials, meaning that the materials fully biodegrade and leave no harmful or chemical residues as part of the process. These materials are certified under European (TUV OK Compost), Australasian (ABA), and BPI standards. 

The use of compostable materials reduces our plastic use by 85% compared to traditional packaging. The small amount of biodegradable plastic used in the product is made from plants and has been shown to support healthy soil when broken down. 

The bags do not contain added PFAS (poly-) and have been tested to demonstrate that they meet all safety guidelines (including California, BPI, etc).
