We're passionate about organic agriculture and its positive impact on our environment, farmworkers, and the pets who enjoy our products. While organic ingredients often cost more, we carefully balance making our products affordable while maximizing organic content where it matters most.

We're proud that our Roasted Peanut Butter & Sweet Potato Flavor formula contains over 50% organic-certified ingredients, sourced from farms and processors committed to organic farming practices. Our Sweet Potato Jerky is crafted from 100% organic sweet potatoes, our Roasted Peanut Butter & Sweet Potato Formula (Adults) is 50% organic, and our Baked Pumpkin & Peanut Butter Formula (Seniors) includes 30% organic ingredients. As we continue to grow, we're actively working to increase the organic content across all our recipes by building stronger relationships with our suppliers.

While we prioritize organic ingredients, our products aren't certified organic for two important reasons. First, they're not made in an organic-certified facility. Second, we've made the conscious choice to include synthetic forms of two crucial amino acids: taurine and l-carnitine, which aren't currently on the National Organic Program's approved list.

Recent studies investigating dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) in dogs have highlighted the potential importance of taurine levels in dog food. While the FDA's animal feed organization continues to research whether taurine is essential for adult dogs (it's already known to be vital for cats), we believe including synthetic taurine and l-carnitine in our formulas is a crucial step for pet health. Though this decision means we can't label our products as certified organic, we're confident it's the right choice for your pet's wellbeing.
