The short answer is yes - but we don’t use that marketing terminology in describing our products. Human grade is not a legal or standardized term defined by AAFO, the regulatory body that oversees U.S. pet food. The term has been used inconsistently in the pet food industry.
Generally, ‘human grade’ describes pet food made with ingredients edible to humans and produced in a food-grade (human) manufacturing facility. Our Whole Food Mixer is made from food-grade ingredients and was blended in a food-grade manufacturing facility, so it meets the standard that most would expect from ‘human grade’. By contrast, our baked dog food is made from ‘food-grade’ ingredients but is produced in a pet food bakery, which would not qualify as a ‘food-grade’ facility.
